Working with the IndustryLB provides support to the industry via a multi-pronged approach. The research and development foci of our partners are directly linked to the growing demand of the world industry to ensure that the technology, expertise and infrastructure developed are relevant to the industry. Organizations, research establishments and universities are encouraged to tap on LB's resources in the following ways:Technology Transfer: LB has a pool of intellectual property available for licensing. Companies can tap onto this pool of intellectual property and thus gain access extensive research work that has been produced by many of LB partners. Our commercialization department manages this valuable pool of intellectual property and proactively works with industry to take the technologies to market. Growing Enterprises with Technology Upgrade: The GE-TU (Growing Enterprises with Technology Upgrade) program has been initiated to boost the global competitiveness of local technology-intensive enterprises. The program aims to help companies upgrade in technology operation and technology road mapping, technical advisors, and the secondment of researchers to the companies to strengthen their R&D capability. Research Collaboration and Research Resources: Companies undertaking research and development can explore expanding their scope and reach of projects by collaborating with our research partners in joint projects, or tapping on our research institutes' facilities and resources. |
